Alba is a city and commune of Piedmont in the province of Cuneo in Italy. Most famous for its peach, white truffle and wine production, the town is considered the capital of Langhe. The famous Ferrero confectionary group is also based in the city. It covers an area of just 54 square kilometers and has a population of around 36 thousand people. The Alba Cathedral as it stands today is restored from the 19th century and consists of three portals and a crypt. Visitors also enjoy the wood carved chorus housed in the Cathedral.
