Dun Laoghaire, known to the locals as Dunleary, is a seaside town in Ireland, a mere 12 kilometers from the city center of Dublin. It is a major port of entry from Great Britain. The east pier is enjoyed by hikers and was also featured in the movie Michael Collins starring Liam Neeson. To the south of the harbour, you?ll find Scotsman?s Bay. What was once an amusement park with many walks, shelters and public baths is now just an abandoned part of history, although the walks and shelters are largely still intact.
