Car Rental New York Jfk Airport
How do I hire a car at New York JFK Airport?
The first thing to do when collecting any rental car is to check it over for any damage and make sure this is documented by the hire company. Otherwise, they could charge you for the damage at a later date. You should return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as when you received it. If you do not, you might find yourself with a bill which will be at a higher cost than the fuel itself.
It’s imperative to understand the road laws of your destination (which vary from state to state, so read up on these depending on how far you’re going). Always drive responsibly just like you would at home, so naturally don’t drink and drive, use a phone behind the wheel or drive tired.
JFK is used by six of the world’s top car hire providers, and all have operations in each of the terminals’ arrival levels. Most have a courtesy telephone. You will find your vehicle at the rental car lot, which you can reach via the AirTrain. Although you can book on the spot, it’s much more economical to book in advance online and it will save time too.
