Canberra is located in the south east of New South Wales and is the capital of Australia.  The city is a bush capital and a great place to visit if you enjoy taking part in outdoors activities.  Nature reserves, hiking and cycling trails, parks and gardens abound.  No matter why you are choosing to visit the capital of Aussie land you are sure to have an awesome time!

Canberra is a city of extremes.  The winters can be bitterly cold due to the city’s close location to the Snowy Mountains.  Temperatures often drop below freezing but snow is rare.  Summers on the other hand are as hot as other cities in Australia and temperatures over 30c are not uncommon.  Summers are not however as humid as you would expect as cool breezes from the mountains help to keep things much more comfortable.
