What To Expect

Your tour begins in Piazza Bellini, by the Greek Walls. Enter the historical centre via dei Tribunali, one of the main streets - decumanus - of ancient Neapolis. Hear the fascinating story of the Tempietto del Pontano and sample fresh buffalo mozzarella at Via Atri. Taste pasta e patate con la provola or ragu pippiato cooked to grandma’s recipe, be intrigued by pizza fritta and experience a unique flavour with frittatina. Take a break from all that food with a limoncello shot in a small factory near Spaccanapoli before heading to Piazza del Plebiscito for coffee and pastry at Gambrinus café. During this 4-hour walk across Naples you will also visit San Domenico square, Gesu square and go down Via Toledo. A vegetarian option is available but tour not suitable for vegan, gluten-free or dairy-free diets.
