Nestled between Marienplatz and Odeonsplatz in the heart of Munich, the Kunsthalle is one of Germany’s leading exhibition venues. It is located in the “Fünf Höfe” complex, designed and built by the renowned Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron.
It organizes 3 art exhibitions of an outstanding level of artistic quality a year and has built an international reputation. The time range spans from prehistory and early history to the present day. Art and culture from around the world are displayed here in all their glory, whether it be painting, sculpture, graphic arts, photography, handcrafts or design. Monographic exhibitions and themed projects share the spotlight.
