    The Scuola Grande di San Rocco is the only one of the old Great Schools to have survived the fall of the Venetian Republic. It is an exceptional place where over 60 paintings, the Granparte of Tintoretto and then Tiziano, Tiepolo and other extraordinary artists, are preserved in their original location in a building that, from its construction, has hardly changed.
