On this off-the-beaten-path experience you will learn a whole deal about Mexican food, history, culture and traditions with a seasoned tour guide and food writer while you learn to navigate Mexico's unbelievable markets.
We'll also eat some of the most iconic Mexican street and market food. We’ll start with a cup of coffee and a delicious piece of artisanal pastry, followed by a tasty huarache at the restaurant that created the dish.
After that, we’ll explore Jamaica Market, one of the largest and most beautiful markets in the city. There, we’ll try some of the best barbacoa in Mexico, and a cup of delicious Mexican corn. We'll end up with surprise gourmet dish at the best seafood restaurant in the city seated at the chef's table along with a delicious agua fresca or a beer, a true hidden culinary gem.
We’ll walk through long aisles of flowers, floral arrangements and plants, beautiful produce, piñatas, candied fruit, and pottery.
