Beside Paris, Vienna, Brussels, Barcelona, Riga, Prague or St. Petersburg Budapest was one of the centres of Art Nouveau a century ago.
It was the first architectural style that involved also fine arts and applied arts. The end of the 19th century was the time when arts rejected the rigid historicism and mass production, and emphasised a new ornamentation. The 3 hours programme, where we shall visit the most miraculous wonders is a light walking, supplemented with public transport from time to time.
