On this tour we are enthusiastic about exploring interesting places along the urban riverside by both bike and boat.
Although this is a full day tour we’ll proceed at a leisurely pace, stopping long and often enough to really take in the sights and tastes.
Actual cycle time over mostly flat, quiet streets is around 3 hours, making this easily doable by everyone.
We’ll take our bikes aboard a ferry at a pier near Asakusa. From the ferry you’ll experience Tokyo from a wonderfully unique perspective, which you might not have thought possible.
Following our 30 minute cruise, we’ll disembark and resume our bike tour through the old time streets of Tsukishima, then, reach our specially chosen seafront lunch spot which has a variety of different tuna bowls.
We’ll move on to what once was the center of seafood wholesale in Tokyo: Tsukiji Fish market. Then, we’ll cycle along the riverside to the Fukagawa area.
Finally we board the ferry again and head off back to our home base.
