Join me on a unique tour in the Princes' Islands. We'll meet in the city and take a scenic ferry ride to Büyükada (the biggest one of the islands!). After that, we'll rent bicycles and start our big tour around the island. As motor vehicles are banned here, cycling is the best way to explore what this pretty place has to offer.
Get ready to check out the Splendid Palace Hotel which beautifully displays a west and east synthesis in its architectural design. Then, we'll continue our ride around the island.
On our way back we'll park the bikes and start a short hike towards the highest peak of the island. Check out the historic Aya Yorgi Church, which is often. It is the place with the most magnificent and expansive views with lush greenery below. A perfect place to watch the sunset.
Friendly tip: It would be a good idea to visit the islands on a weekday rather than weekends if you can, to avoid the summer crowds.
