    Located in the heart of Ria Formosa Natural Park, Olhão is known for fresh fish and good shellfish. The canning industry played an important role in the village. Enjoy the canning industry whilst learning about its history and tasting their products. Saturday morning is a very busy day at the Municipal market with local producers selling fresh and typical products of the region. There is also a gipsy street market – Free time to explore.

    OPTIONAL 3 hours Ria Formosa Boat Tour: Visit 2 barrier islands with lunch included in Culatra fishing Community Island.

What to Expect

To make your experience unforgettable, we include a lunch of freshly grilled fish from our sea and clams from the Ria Formosa. On your return, the local ferry will take you on a tour along the Ria Formosa Natural Park.
