Bernina Scenic Train ride on the Swiss Alps. Small-Group Tour

Overview

Experience a 12 to 13-hour journey to one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites, the BERNINA TRAIN, which passes by LAKE COMO and a stunning Alpine valley. During our stop in the idyllic lakeshore village of Varenna, we have the option to visit a cheese/wine traditional cellar!
We then arrive in Tirano with time for lunch before boarding the Bernina train that climbs up into the Swiss Alps.
At its highest point, we can enjoy breathtaking views of snowcapped mountains and glaciers - although this is subject to weather conditions, as in severe cases we may only be able to take part of this ride.
Next on our itinerary is St. Moritz where you will have 45 minutes to explore this famous resort.
Finally, we return to Lake Como via another picturesque Swiss valley before taking a short train ride back to Milan.

• EACH PASSENGER HAS TO CARRY A VALID PASSPORT
• BRING WITH YOU A LIGHT SWEATHER OR JACKET IN THE SUMMER AND, IN THE WINTER, HEAVY JACKET, GOOD SHOES, SCARF, GLOVES AND CAP
• Not recommended for travellers with heart problems or other serious medical conditions. It is a 13 hours long day involving also some uphill walk and stairs.
• Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 16 travelers
