Lake Mburo Park, is just a short drive and the closet from Kampala, the Park is home for thousands of Burchell’s Zebras. Lake Mburo and the other 4 lakes within the Park it attracts hippos and crocodiles, and for the birding enthusiasts, this is close to paradise. It is the only place in Uganda that supports massive herds of “impalas”…. Kampala city derives its name from here. Other antelopes easily seen are topi, bushbuck, common duiker, oribi, Defassa waterbuck and Bofor reedbuck. Buffalos, warthogs, bush-pigs and hippopotamus and many others.
