Far from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles this 2 day trip takes you to California of early 20th Century. Paso Robles a small idyllic quintessential historic town in an agricultural valley and cattle country that now rivals most wine country regions of California. On the second morning a ride to the coast at San Simeon and Julia Morgan's classic building high atop the hill looking at The Pacific Ocean, Built in the 1920s and 30s for William Randolph Hearst it has incredible art collection of the newspaper and mining tycoon. Unwittingly called a "Castle" it is a masterpiece of Greco Roman and Art Deco architecture of the American school.
