You get off the beaten track and get to see some of the mountains and beautiful areas not that far from Chengdu. There is generally very few people that go to the waterfall or on the hike. On weekends the hotel is a little busy, but not on weekdays. You get to see and how local farmers in the areas live and experience nature. A great escape from the city.
