During two days designed for a family trip between Riomaggiore and Manarola, in the heart of the Cinque Terre, you can immerse yourself in an unusual Christmas atmosphere that surrounds this strip of land between sea and hills, lit up with magic from dawn to dusk. Wrapped in the thousands of lights of the nativity scene, you can listen to the story of the locals on the origins of this extraordinary event, which involves the entire population of Manarola.
The following day, after having stayed in a comfortable apartment in the center of the village of Riomaggiore, you can try your hand at making Ligurian pesto in a "fondo", an ancient cellar dating back to 1200, according to the true local tradition.
