Overview

Poon Hill Trek also known as Annapurna Sunrise Trek offers the spectacular mountain scenery along with charming villages, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurnas with the picturesque peak of Machhapuchhare (Fishtail). One of the important highlight of this trip is to make a climb to Poon Hill for watching the magical sunrise on the Annapurna Range. When sun rises, it touches the snow covered peaks, Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m), Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) along with other peaks. Poon Hill Trek is designed for the those who want a less demanding but short and beautiful trek.
