See for real the place where Lord Buddha was born in 623 BC in Lumbini located in the southern Terai plains of Nepal. Lumbini is a UNESCO World Heritage Site about 306 kms from the Kathmandu City. You will fly to Bhairawa and spent the next two days exploring around Lumbini. There are lots of sites and landmarks to visit like Maya Devi Temple, the scared pond, Ashoka Pillar, the ruin palaces, the exact spot where Buddha was born, Devdaha, Ramagram and various stupas erected by different Buddhist nations. After Lumbini, take a scenic drive back to Kathmandu and the next day departure back home.
