This 100% hands-off ethical elephant experience is the first of its kind in Phuket and offers visitors a completely non-intrusive glimpse into the lives of our rescued elephants at Phuket Elephant Sanctuary. You will learn about the Asian Elephants’ plight, observe our elephants as they roam around, bathe and sozialize freely, and help prepare nutritious, supplementary food for our herd.
Phuket Elephant Sanctuary is the first ethical elephant sanctuary on the island and offers a new and final home for overtired elephants who have suffered from working long hours in the logging and tourism industry. We rescue sick, injured and old elephants, welcoming them back into their indigenous habit.
