A relaxing and healthy day with the Etruscans: away from the crowded places

Overview

Cerveteri Necropolis and Tarquinia Museum are the most imposing in all Etruria and some of the most magnificent in the entire Mediterranean basin. You can get lost as you wander the streets of Cerveteri’s "city of the deads", enter their tombs shaped as houses and take a trip back in time. We'll meet by your Cruise Ship or by your hotel. Depending on the amount of guests we’ll use a car or a minivan both in case with driver. First we'll get to Cerveteri and visit its outstanding Necropolis. Later we'll drive to Tarquinia and visit the local amazing Etruscan museum. Lunch time we might enjoy some local food and wine: the area is known for the Pappardelle al Cinghiale (wild boar) and Morellino red wine. Or drive to one of the simple but very good fish restaurants on the beach,eg next to the Castle of Santa Severa. Mid afternoon we'll drive back to the Cruise ship or to the Hotel. On the way back we might stop by one of the local wine factories. NOT operating on Mondays
