Overview

    Whether you have visited many wineries or none at all this is the tour to learn about and taste all the different types of wines in the Rioja region. We will take you to 3 different boutique wineries in order to learn about their wines and of course, enjoy a hosted tasting of their most selected wines. At one of the wineries we will enjoy a wonderful picnic-style lunch prepared for us.

    Before we head back to Bilbao we will take you to the award winning village of Laguardia and will give you a guided tour. Laguardia is famous for its underground cellars and is considered to be one of the most beautiful medieval village of Spain.

What to Expect

    Get a personalised introduction to Bilbao´s most important building, the Guggenhim Museum designed by Franck Gehry. In this tour we will focus in the design and architectural challenges of this impressive building as well as the artworks placed inside and outiside the museum. Take into account that you will be visiting a very modern art museum (come with an open mind) so you will really benefit from one of our private art historian guides who will be able to explain you the highlights of the museum (inside & outside) from renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, Anselm Kiefer, Jean-Michel Basquiat and the local Basque sculptors of Eduardo Chillida and Jorge Oteiza. This modern art museum means much more than art to the Basques so let us explain you how the museum and its building has contributed to the new urban plan of Bilbao together with other stunning contributions from architects such as Santiago Calatrava or Arati Isozaki.
