    Kakome Bay is located on the Ionian Coast, west of the village of Nivica, between cape of Qefali and Akroriza beach. is one of the quietest beaches along the coast, it can be accessed by car, but it is more beautiful by boat. Here lies the sandy beach of Kakome, one of the most beautiful stretches of unspoilt beach that can be found on the Albanian coast.

    The bay used to be home to an army base and access might be limited during some periods. It has a fine white sand and gravel; the variation of blue sea and the surrounding greenery make it a true paradise.
    St. Mary's Monastery rises above the hill in the interior part of Kakome Bay, far from the inhabited center.. The position of the monastery and the architectural - constructive level of the remaining buildings testify to its importance and values. The monastery complex consists of churches, towers and a two-storey building used for service facilities.
