Experience two of Mexico’s most typical artisanal crafts—delicious chocolate and colorful “alebrijes” (carved wooden figures)—in one half-day workshop at Discover Mexico Park. Kids will love the opportunity to create their own “alebrije”, while adults will enjoy learning about the history of chocolate in Mexico before sampling several varieties.
At chocolate workshop, your guide will teach you the traditional tools, including crank mills y mortars used to roast and grind cocoa seeds, as well as the process to turn those seeds into real chocolate, you will also try chocolate samples, cocoa powder, and our exclusive Chocolate Liquor.
At the Alebrije workshop you will choose from a variety of hand-carved wooden creatures. Free your inner artist as you express your own colors painting it.
After this experience, a Mexican taco buffet.
Now is time for the Paplanta Flyers show- a unique aerial performance.
