This full day tour, will give you the opportunity to discover The Netherlands, by visiting some very specific highlights in one day. We can extend this tour in 2 or 3 days.
We will leave Brussels -early, and have our first stop in KINDERDIJK. To drain the POLDERS ( land reclaimed ), a system of 19 windmills was built in 1740. This group of mills is the largest concentration of old windmills in The Netherlands. They are classified as UNESCO HERITAGE since 1997.
On our way to AMSTERDAM, a must will be to visit wonderful, most historical DELFT . In 1246 Delft received its city franchise from the Dutch Earl Willem II. A must would be to visit the “Royal Delft “ . Established in 1653, this is the last DELFTWARE factory from the 17th. century.The world famous Royal Delftware is still entirely hand painted, according to centuries old traditions.
We will have time to walk around and eventually visit the Van Gogh museum or The Anne Frank House ( as an example ).
