An Evening in Victoria: guided walking tour, wine tasting and dinner

Overview

This tour will offer visitors to Gozo a pleasant yet informative evening walk within the historic centre of Victoria. Starting from St. Augustine Square our qualified tour guide will offer a brief introduction about the former crusaders' cemetery and religious orders. The group will then pass through the narrow streets of Victoria. A brief stop at iconic sites such as the Narrow Street (Hora d-Dejqa) is included. The tour will pass through St. George's Square with some time to visit the basilica and possibly the church museum. The group will then be led to Independence Square for a light snack of coffee and pastizzi at the typical Bellusa Cafe. The guide will explain about the Banca Giuratale and Christ the King Monument. The group will then be taken up to the Cittadella with stops at the reservoir (visitor centre), Cathedral, and enjoy the evening scenic views. After enjoying the sunset the walking tour will end at Maldonado Bistro for a private wine tasting and dining experience.
