clock2 hours

Overview

Join us for a soap making session!! We’re making soap from scratch using the cold-process method!
Yes, we’re getting into a bit of chemistry over this class to learn the basics of saponification, safety in handling lye, using natural colours in soap, how to use a soap calculator, what are the different types of oils used and what purpose they serve, etc. This is a class suitable for complete beginners in soap-making wanting to start experimenting at home!

It’s so satisfying to be able to make your own bars so you don’t want to miss this. However, seats are limited to 8 per session so be sure to book your spot today!

    You will go home with:
    – 1 cold-process soap loaf
    – A beginner’s guide
    – A silicone mould, goggles and mask you can reuse at home
Be sure to wear long sleeves or something to cover your arms and wear closed-toe shoes.
Please note that your soap will need to harden at home for a few days before unmolding and cutting it.
