The ancient town of Naples, corresponding to the famous Neapolis of the greek time, was declared a Unesco site in 1995, as it is rich in monuments, churches, beautiful palaces and museums.
We will start our tour from the Cathedral dedicated to Our Lady then we will enter the most intriguing maze of alleys and streets where myriads of churches show the most beautiful artifacts of renowned artists. The main streets are flanked by famous palaces built during the centuries, which give us an account of the different styles and fashions that characterized the architecture of this amazing town. It is a real journey through the centuries.
We will reach very famous squares where the devotion of the population to the patrons and saints, who are supposed to take care of the town, is visible in beautiful spires which express their gratitude to them. We will end our tour in Gesù Nuovo Square.
