  • The tasting includes 3 1 oz Convite rare agave mezcals: Coyote, Wild Boar and Ensemble of five wild agaves, teaching material and explanation provided by a Mezcal Convite expert.

What to Expect

    This activity will allow you to appreciate and recognize what an authentic mezcal is for us who truly produce and know mezcal. The activity takes place at Casa Convite, the only comprehensive space in Oaxaca dedicated to promoting the culture of mezcal. In our Exhibition Hall we will show you what is related to the planting of agave, the production, the certification of mezcal and the requirements for a drink can be called mezcal. Then we will move on to the CONVITE Mezcal Tasting Room, the only one of its kind, where you will learn to taste any type of mezcal. We are committed to offering a unique experience with a professional methodology to taste mezcal. For this reason, an expert from our Mezcal CONVITE brand will share the secrets behind good mezcal, and will accompany you in this multisensory tasting to try three rare or wild agave mezcals.
