Built 27 years ago, the Aquarium is today the largest private freshwater in Europe.
Over an area of 4000 square meters, discover 66 pools and more than 3 million litres of water welcoming more than 6000 fish : from the Carps in our ponds, passing the Catfish in our rivers all the way to the impressive sturgeons from our estuaries, no longer will freshwater fish hide any secrets from you. The Aquarium du Périgord Noir has welcomed since its creation more than 4 million visitors.
