Overview

    After an early morning pick up from your Chiang Rai hotel, arrive at an authentic farm at Ban Chomna Resort. Enjoy a refreshing tropical Welcome Drink, such as mint, lemon grass or seasonal juice.

    Watch the Ground Crew prepare for the 'Once-In-A-Lifetime' experience of hot-air ballooning over the stunning Chiang Rai countryside. The experience will take approximately 45 to 60 minutes and will be at dawn, just as the sun rises to start a new day.

    After landing, take part in the Post Flight Champagne Celebration in the grass hut stations right in the middle of the rice field. Then it is time for an organic Lanna Style A -La-Carte Breakfast with stream sticky rice harvested from their own rice field, together with local herb juice, fruits and vegetables fresh from the garden.

    Should you wish, you'll get a kick out of a fun farming activity for about 30 minutes (optional) following which you'll be driven back to your Chiang Rai hotel OR to nearby Singha Park.

What to Expect

    Each flight is unique. The experienced pilots will always have the safety of their passengers as their first priority, needing to consider wind speeds, wind direction and other factors whilst still being able to take you further and deeper into the Chiang Rai countryside. The whole experiences will be something you cannot, and will not, ever forget. Your Soft Adventure and Nature Touch Activity with Balloon Chiang Rai will surely be the highlight of your visit to the north of Thailand. You are to be at Singha Park Shop at 6.00am in the morning (or at Singha Park Zone Zipline at 4.15pm for the evening flight) to then be driven about 30 minutes to the Launch Site (this location can be changed depending on wind conditions). Then it is time to hop into the basket for the 45 minute hot-air balloon trip over the picturesque Chiang Rai countryside. After this spectacular 45 minute journey you will be driven back to the point at which you first began the exciting, and memorable, day.
