The Belvedere is a World Heritage Site, a Baroque jewel, and the site of the Austrian State Treaty. It is both one of the oldest museums in the world and a venue for contemporary art.
The Baroque gardens of the Belvedere rank among the most beautiful in the world. The main garden is situated between the Lower and the Upper Belvedere and extends over three large terraces.
Entry ticket only (no guided tour included). Visitors may proceed to the museums entrance directly and enjoy their visit individually.
Exhibition Highlights The Lower Belvedere will start the year with In the Eye of the Storm, Modernism in Ukraine. Following this, Hannah Höch (1889-1978) will be honored for the first time with a retrospective in Austria. The Ghanaian artist Amoako Boafo and the Finnish artist Akseli Gallen Kallela will also be exhibited in 2024.
