Overview

    Join a full-day guided tour while you're on vacation in Morocco; it's one of the top things to do in Marrakech.
    Get comfortable before setting out on your air-conditioned minivan or private car to Atlas Valley's classic villages in three valleys.
    You will experience the Moroccan desert on this tour by riding a camel as Marrakech Camel tour, saving you the trip to the Sahara. Next, travel to the Tahanaoute region, before visiting the nearby Argan Oil cooperative for a tour, a snack, and a chance to see how the oil is packaged.
    Then you will journey to Imlil, a town in the High Atlas highlands, where you will trek between some of Morocco's remote settlements and enjoy the highlands.
    Along the way, there are many sights to see and people to meet. You will also visit the Imlil waterfalls and learn about the back-to-nature Berber lifestyle. While you walk to a nearby village for lunch, which would be Tagin or couscous as the traditional Moroccan meals in a traditional Berber house.

What to Expect

    Embark on this full day hike The Adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in Marrakech, it takes 1h30m to get to Imlil Valley. At 8:30 in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech. After that, we take a journey to the high atlas highlands, which are located very near to Marrakech. We'll stop along the way for optional photo opportunities. After then, we'll resume traveling in the direction of Imlil Valley. When you arrive to Imlil, you will meet your guide, and start walking. first ascend the Tamatert Valley to the Tizi n'Tamatert pass (2,280m) from the Imlil 1740m centre, passing through the Berber communities of Ait Souka and Tamatert. From the pass, we enter a Moroccan pine forest and take a track that ascends to Adrar Talamrout's top. Before we start our descent back to Imlil, we stop at the top of Adrar Talamrout (2,600m) to take in the panorama of the Imenane Valley and the Berber settlements of Amskere and Ikkiss. We'll stop for lunch on the way down.
