Overview

    Borovets is the old and most charming mountain resort in Bulgaria, located about 70 kms from Sofia along the Iskar lake and in the foot of Rila Mountain National Park. Rila is the highest mountain in Bulgaria and the Balkans with its 2925m Moussala peak.
    Both in the summer or winter you can take a gondola ride for magnificient mountain views - Moussala peak and others. In case the lift is not running, you can visit the former Tsar Boris palace in Borovets.
    In less than an hour drive, it is time to relax, warm up in the winter or cool down in some of the open air or inside mineral pools of Sapareva bania. This mineral water source has the highest temperature on the Balkans - 103 degrees Celsius and is very healthy. You will have 3 hours to enjoy the complex, relax and have a drink or lunch.

What to Expect
