Overview

    Over the last 1000 years, Wroclaw has belonged to different nations and been governed by different monarchs. Without doubt the most significant change to the status of the city was at the end of World War II 1945 when the German city of Breslau became the Polish city of Wroclaw. During your tour, you will discover how much of old Breslau remains in contemporary Wroclaw and you will see archive photos taken before and after the War documenting the changes.
