Looking to experience Seattle like a local? Well put down your umbrella, lace up your walking shoes and join us on this 3-hour beer and food tour of the historic Ballard neighborhood. Just 5 miles North of Downtown! On this tour you can expect tastes from 2 of the best breweries on the West Coast, 2 restaurants specializing in gourmet comfort food, and one Scandinavian Beer Hall (pickled herring, anyone??) This tour also pays visit to a few of the most unique attractions in the city: Gaze at bridges high in the sky as they move to allow passage of ships underneath. Wave at passengers in the Ballard Locks as their boats rise from the salty sea into fresh water lakes. Bid the salmon a safe journey as they swim upriver on their way home one last time. Ballard is classic Seattle! There is 2.5/3 miles of walking on flat ground involved in this tour. Everyone is welcome, so please let us know ahead of time if any accommodations are needed. Must be 21+ to participate
