This tour is probably one of the most varied excursions. Different climate zones with their typical vegetation are in front of you. At the end of the day you will have been cycling through pine forests, bananas, black sand beaches and moon-like volcanic landscapes. From the Visitor Center National Park Caldera de Taburiente you will ascend to the summit of La Cumbrecita at 1350 m, from where you have a magnificent view of the caldera and the highest mountains of the island. Over the gorge of fears you drive down to the sea to Puerto Tazacorte. From the harbor you make your way to the colorful town of Tazacorte and continue through banana plantations up to Todoque. On your onward journey to Las Manchas you pass the lava masses of the volcano San Juan. After a short stop at the colorfully designed Plaza Glorietta and the visitor center Cueva de Las Palomas, we return to the starting point.
