Casa de Moneda de Colombia was a mint founded by the Spanish military engineer Alonso Turrillo de Yebra in the seventeenth century. It currently houses the numismatic and art collection of the Banco de la República. It is located on 11th Street with Carrera 4, in the colonial neighborhood of La Candelaria in the center of Bogotá. In 1975 it was declared a National Monument.
