This tour provides you the opportunity to witness the grandeur of the Royal Palace of Caserta and its park. Constructed in the 1700s by Charles III of Bourbon according to designs by Neapolitan architect Luigi Vanvitelli, it was inscribed in 1997 as one of Italy's 53 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Visitors are left mesmerized by its impressive exterior and elegant interior. Spanning 45,000 m2 (484,376 ft2 or approx 11 acres), with five floors reaching up to 36 meters (118 feet) high and 143 windows on its main facade, it contains 1,200 rooms and 34 staircases. The driver will be at your disposal for approximately two hours during your visit so that you can leave any belongings in the vehicle or ask for assistance if needed.
