Caupona: experience between taste and history

Overview

Immerse yourself in the history and food of the ancient Roman era, where everything has been meticulously replicated, from the frescoes on the walls to the vivid colours, to Pompeii-era images; with candlelit wooden tables adorned with terracotta plates, goblets, amphorae, and costumed waiters. You can even dress up in period costumes if you wish to truly feel like an ancient Roman.

At the "Caupona," savour typical dishes of Roman antiquity inspired by a recipe book from Imperial age but revisited in a modern way. The menu consists of 4 courses that you can choose from a selection made by our chef - appetizer, first course, second course , dessert and water - all accompanied by one glass of matching wine kept by Romans during that time.
This authentic experience will satisfy every visitor who wishes to receive both history and food , wine and journey into past times - reliving and tasting lost flavors of the Rome of the Empire.
