Overview

    Meet us at 9:30 am, at Le Clos Corbier, our headquarter in Mareuil-sur-Ay, where your bike will be ready for you to ride and start your Champagne experience. Our team will welcome you and brief you about the e-bike and itinerary. We will also provide you with our roadbook full of our local team’s tips and anecdotes: Must-see historical places to visit, nice typical villages and great picture spots… you will have all the information to enjoy a unique French experience!
    Your e-bike will allow you to explore some of Champagne’s most remote locations and breathtaking views on the UNESCO world’s heritage vines. You will then discover the village of Hautvillers, birthplace of Champagne.
    Experience a cycle down the Marne canal to make your way back, and deserve your Champagne glass to have an introduction to Champagne tasting. Immerse yourself into the french lifestyle with a traditional lunch which consists in homemade regional specialties paired with a variety of Champagnes.

What to Expect

    Meet your guide in Reims at 02:00PM or directly at Le Clos Corbier at 02:45PM. Drive in the Champagne countryside to a typical Champagne House, Le Clos Corbier, where your electric bike will be ready for you to ride. Your bike will take you though the Champagne vineyards and hillsides, heading towards the village of Hautvillers, where the famous monk Dom Perignon discovered the prestigious elixir. Have a break in front of the church and hear about the history of Champagne. Cycle back to Le Clos Corbier down the Marne canal. Visit the cellars and taste different champagnes from the family domaine. You will discover and learn about the champagne making process. After this memorable afternoon, your guide will drop you off at Le Clos Corbier at 06:15PM or in Reims at 07:00PM. Please note: - electric bikes are heavier than regular bikes, as a consequence, it is required to be comfortable cycling. - in case of bad weather the tour will be operated by minivan
