Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, was founded in 1987, started with 6 giant pandas that were rescued from the wild. By 2017, it had 146 pandas in total.It is a nice park fitting for people in all ages. I will show you the giant pandas' nursery, climb up the hill to see red pandas, and watch a short film in the cinema.
The Leshan Giant Buddha was built during the Tang Dynasty (618-907AD). It is carved out of a cliff located at the confluence of three rivers. It is the largest stone Buddha in the world and it is by far the tallest pre-modern statue in the world.
