    In 2020, Chiang Mai Yi Peng Festival is celebrated on the same day (31 Oct & 1 Nov) alongside Loy Krathong. Except the Maejo University, Chiang Mai CAD (at Air Sports Farm) will be held another offical Mass Release. With a capacity of 4000 and 2 lanterns dispatched to each visitor, Chiang Mai CAD will release an estimated number of up to 6000 lanterns, which is more delightful and magnificent than Maejo University.

    As the official partner of Chiang Mai CAD, 3 tickets types (Standard / VIP / Premium) for the Chiang Mai CAD Lantern Release 2020 are on sale and available now:

Show e-ticket on your cell phone to get on free shuttle to the venue (about 50mins drive). 16:30-18:30 Arrival at the venue, show your e-ticket to register at the main entrance. Receive souvenir and enjoy activities, Craft and Art zone, Tribal village, Loy kratong. 18:30-20:00 Enjoy Thai Lanna Buffet Dinner, snacks, dessert & beverages. 19:30 Enter the Pagoda ritual area.
