Overview

    In the company of one of our guides we embark on the adventure to the valley of Cocorá cradle of the wax palm national tree where we will begin to walk in search of the hope farm which houses these palms and their exuberant landscapes visiting the swing in its path, the valley of the palms, the sign Cocorá, the forest of the palms, the Mirador de las palmas and the Alas Cocorá. The guide at each stop will provide brief explanations about the natural environment, cultural, natural and socio-economic history of the sector. «To not only see if not to know the Cocorá valley«.

What to Expect

    Enjoy the great mountain hiking tour through the Cocora Valley known as the Hummingbird Circuit, an incredible natural route of approximately 12 kilometers in the middle of the native cloud forests in combination with the forest waterfall, the 7 hanging bridges, the farm in the mountains and the most beautiful landscapes of wax palms. Starting from Salento to enjoy a walk through the natural landscapes of palms, humid and pine forests up to the La Montaña farm, which has a beautiful viewpoint of the Cocora Valley canyon and from which you can see the foot of the Morro Gacho hill, after We will descend about 1 kilometer and continue to the Acaime Reserve where we will rest a bit and have the snack included in the activity, Aguapanela with cheese or its derivatives. Then we will return through the cloud forest passing 7 suspension bridges, the waterfall of the cloud forest and the passage through the gate that reveals the mountains full of palms.
