UNESCO has declared this ancient Portuguese city of the seventeenth century a “World Heritage Site” for its well- preserved architectural wealth. We will do a memorable full-day tour to know its stone streets, its old buildings, remains of fortifications and the Spanish and Portuguese museums, among others.
The tour continues to the city center, the port area, the “Ferrando” beach and its beautiful "Rambla". Reaching the “Real de San Carlos” area - originally a touristic resort planned by Nicola-s Mianovich during the beginning of the 20th century - you will be able to see the old bullring, the fronton court, the hippodrome and the old pier where ships coming from Buenos Aires used to dock.
Last but not least, you will also visit the well-known Granja Arenas, a place where cheese and homemade jams are made and the Museum of the Collections, where you can see the largest collection of pencils in the world, validated by the Guinness Book.
