Overview
CROCOPARC blends seamlessly into the
stunning natural environment. Its ochre
rammed earth walls serve as an aesthetic
embellishment that resonates with the
traditional regional architecture. The
majestic peaks of Atlas and the twisted,
gnarled Argan trees create a picturesque
panorama, showing how these species have been present in this area for millions of years. This 4-hectare park lies in Drarga, a rural commune on the edge of Agadir, near National Road 8 – connecting Agadir to Marrakech. As part of the Urban Park project it covers a total area of 40 hectares.

What To Expect
The walls of ochre, adorned with a giant head of crocodile, give the impression
that CROCOPARC is emerging from an enchanting world of children's stories. The presence in Oued Draa of crocodiles until early 20th century has inspired this fantastic place and revived the fascination that these prehistoric animals have always provoked. Situated on four hectares in the Drarga zone near Agadir, CROCOPARC is Morocco’s first Crocodile Park and renowned as a national and international tourist attraction. It promises to be a source of entertainment and joy for children and students, as well as an educational experience. Its opening is slated for spring 2015.
