"Aurora" played a key role in the February and October uprisings. It is even believed that a blank volley fired from the ship served as a command for the beginning of the assault on the Winter Palace. However, modern historians are trying to challenge this fact. But it is known for sure that it was from the radio room of "Aurora" that Lenin's first address to the people sounded.
