TWO EXCURSIONS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE:
Day 1: In the afternoon we will visit the impressive city of Cusco built on the Inca foundations. We will visit the Qoricancha, the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral. Then we will visit 4 archaeological centers: Sacsayhuaman with its impressive walls and the ceremonial centers of Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay.
Day 2: In the morning we will visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be in a textile center where we will appreciate an interesting demonstration and see the Andean camelids up close.
We will continue to the archaeological complex of Pisac to explore it in its entirety, then we will stop at the craft market. We will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch before visiting Ollantaytambo, a town of Inca origin with notable canals and cobbled streets still in use. In its high part an impressive ceremonial center and fortress that guarded the access to the lower part of the valley rises.
