During the private tour to Saghmosavank,Ohanavank monasteries,Amberd fortress and Alphabet monument guests will start the tour from the monastery Sagmosavank, located above the high gorge at the river Kasakh.
The trip will continue to Ohanavank monastery,which again stands on the edge of the Kasagh River canyon.
Next stop will be near Alphabet park, with the high Holy Cross hovering in the background lays a monument of 39 giant carved Armenian letters in stone and statues of famous Armenians . The park was dedicated to the creator of the Armenian language, Saint Mesrop Mashtots whose language he created over 1,600 years ago is still spoken today.
Amberd castle will be the last destination of the tour . Amberd is a 7th-century fortress located 2,300 meters above sea level, on the slopes of Mount Aragats .The name translates to "fortress in the clouds" in Armenian. It is also the name incorrectly attributed to Vahramashen Church, the 11th-century Armenian church near the castle.
