    Dalhousie is Nearest point or Gatway to Khajjiar and Chamba: Khajjiar – sometimes called the Mini Switzerland of India, the exquisite glade of Khajjiar (1960m) has a circumference of approx 5 kms. Along its fringes, dense woods of cedar (Deodar) climb the slopes, the snow line rests above these forests. Khajjiar is home to a 12th century temple famous as Khajjiar Nag.
